Five Principles
For If you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father Will also forgive you, But If you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Heavenly father forgive you your trespasses” Mathew 6: 14-15.
Beloved in Christ, this is the message of the hour! This is what you need to move towards in this heavenly race!
One of the most difficult things to do is to forgive.
This difficult thing is the road way to God’s mercy.
Listed below are five principles of total forgiveness.
Remain blessed.
1] Total forgiveness is when we do not want anybody else to be hurt because of what was done to us.
2] Total forgiveness wants to make a person feel completely at ease.
3] Total forgiveness will not even allow the person to feel bad or angry with himself…when we really forgive another person, we want them to feel good.
4] Total forgiveness makes it easy for that person to forgive himself; We do it in such a way it is obvious we really do forgive.
5] Total forgiveness is demonstrated when we keep someone’s sin hidden from the person who means so much to him.
** If you are a Christian, there will come a day, it may be soon, when the unexpected, the unthinkable happens to you.
Your immediate question will be “God, why did you let this happen?” The temptation will be for you to let yourself be filled with bitterness, hatred, and a desire for revenge….
Sometimes we are called to forgive people who refuse to acknowledge that they have ever done anything wrong, and there are those who don’t think they have done anything wrong, but you have to forgive them, too. –They are the hardest people to forgive…
It is one thing to say, “I have forgiven him for what he did” –
We can say it and think we mean it but it is another thing to truly and totally forgive.
The grace of our Lord; Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
Amen.
