FORGIVENESS

Beloved in Christ Jesus, I am glad to be a servant to the Master and a blessing to you.
I pray God for your spirit and body to be made ready for the second coming of the King of all kings through Christ our Lord; Amen.
(All scripture is taken from the King James version.)

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful  and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1John 1:9.

This is the word of God. It is wisdom to take the word of God seriously than to listen to the sons of men; “whose breath is only in their nostrils.”

God has spoken expressly!

    "If we CONFESS our sins..."

If we agree, If we will admit sincerely to the wrong we have done, God is saying that He will do His part. He will forgive!
It takes a contrite spirit to admit to being a wrong doer. There is that little lawyer in us who comes out to prove 'OUR RIGHT'.
Humbly agreeing to a wrong we have done is a true step to righteousness.

God is not a man! Man can and has been changing. God is the same forever; Amen.
If we confess, He will truly forgive.

"He that covereth his sins shall not prosper, but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy:" Proverbs 28:13.

This is just the same as it was with the first verse.

If we don’t confess our sins, it means we are COVERING IT.
The opposite of confession of sin is covering of sin. Many of us have not experienced true prosperity from God because we COVER OUR SINS.

The covering of our sins blocks true prosperity.

Please, be open to God. Darkness is light before Him. All hidden things are bare before Him. He is God. He is also love. He is very ready to forgive. This is serious!

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to
  cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
He will not only forgive, He will wash us clean of all the effects of sin.
He is God!

[1] Knowledge of His promise:

"The next day, John seeeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world.”

“The Father shall see the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied:”

“By His knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.”

“Grace be to you and peace from God the father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us FROM THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD, according to the will of God
and our father."

John 1:29, Isaiah 53:11, Gal 1:3-4.

Know this today; Jesus’ main purpose of coming into this world was not to heal the sick, nor raise the dead, nor walk on water; no never! You will be misled if you see him just in that light. JESUS CAME TO DIE FOR OUR SINS!

David Beckham, the celebrated English footballer, is known worldwide for football. Anywhere he goes he is expected to draw a crowd to the football field. It's just natural for him to play football.
If David came down to the Gambia to rest and enjoy the sun, one way or the other, he would find himself practising at the stadium. If he resisted doing this, then even if a little boy was playing football by the roadside this would draw him to play.
His fame is everywhere. Unannounced, people will gather to see and meet him.

Jesus Christ is the son of God with power. He is God who became flesh......

"And without controversy great is the mystery of Godliness:God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels,
preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." 1 Timothy 3:16.

Anywhere Jesus goes, demons recognise him. They cry out fearing that he has come to pass the final judgement on them. They tremble because they know Him. They know what happened to them in heaven. It was terrible! They had to move out of His way! Jesus is God in the flesh and can do anything to glorify the name of the father.
He healed the sick, raised the dead, walked on water and did the miracle with bread and much more.

"And many other signs did Jesus in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God......." John 20:30-31.

At this point, the people wanted to make Jesus king by force. He fled from that.

He is :
THE LAMB OF  GOD WHO CAME TO TAKE  AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD.

This is the will of the father: that we are saved from this present evil world by the death of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary.

You see, if we really confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Anyone who comes to Jesus will receive the forgiveness of sin which He paid for 2000 years ago. People die in their sins because they do not receive the free gift of salvation in Christ Jesus.

Remember, we are talking about the forgiveness of sin. So far, you have learned that when we refuse to cover our sins, God will do his part. When? IMMEDIATELY!

2. THE ACCUSER

"Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way withhim; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into the prison.Verily I say unto thee, thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing." Mathew 5:25-26.

This is our Lord speaking. He knows that when your sins are forgiven, the accuser comes to put you in bondage by reminding you of past sins. Not only that, satan knows the sin you committed yesterday. He is good at that.

Now listen:
You have only one adversary in this race. Satan! He is your adversary. Whenever satan comes against you with the knowledge of a sin committed. Do not argue with him. There is always a tiny bit of truth in his accusations! You know what he is saying. Agree before he takes you to the judge [God]. God will always be just.
Wisdom advises you to agree but don't stop there or else you will enter into bondage. Lift that problem or weakness unto God asking for mercy and grace in that area.

For example:
You woke up in the morning to worship and pray, as you lifted up your hands, a thought came into your heart concerning a sin [past or present]. Stop right there; agree with the truth. Go ahead and humbly present it to the father. You know that God is holy. It is turned to good that satan, in his plot to take you away from the presence of God, has in fact helped you draw closer to God by you being truthful.
Do you understand?

It is God's perfect will that you be saved from this present evil world.

I pray that God will give you deeper insight into these things. Remember,
Dear blessed and ready-for-rapture, be strong in Christ. Amen.
